We are seeking a talented and passionate Hairdresser to join our dynamic salon team. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and a genuine enthusiasm for helping clients look and feel their best. This role involves providing a wide range of hairdressing services, including colouring, styling, and specialised treatments, while delivering exceptional customer service in a welcoming environment. Experience in store management, barbering, eyelash extensions, and nails will be highly valued. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to mentor junior staff and contribute to the growth of our salon.
Responsibilities
- Deliver professional hairdressing services such as cutting, colouring, styling, and specialised treatments tailored to client preferences
- Provide expert advice on hair care products and styling techniques to optimise client satisfaction
- Manage front desk duties including appointment scheduling, client consultations, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere
- Upsell additional services and retail products to enhance client experience and salon revenue
- Mentor junior team members to foster skill development and uphold high standards of service
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Assist with store management tasks when necessary to ensure smooth daily operations
Experience
- Proven experience as a Hairdresser or Barber with a strong portfolio demonstrating technical skills
- Knowledge of store management practices is advantageous
- Experience in customer service roles within the beauty or salon industry
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and team members
- Previous mentoring or supervisory experience is beneficial but not essential
