Job Overview
We are seeking a Deli Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while preparing and serving a variety of products from our Hot Food and Cold Serve. You will ensure food safety standards are met and that our customers receive high-quality food items in a timely manner.
Duties
- Prepare and serve deli items to the store specifications.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation while ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Assist customers with their selections and show proficiency in allergen information.
- Work well in the Deli team to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines in the kitchen environment.
Skills
- Understanding of food preparation techniques.
- Experience in a kitchen setting is advantageous.
- Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure high-quality standards are maintained.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.

Pay: From £12.21 per hour
