Key Requirements (Essential)
- Minimum 1 year's experience in B2B Energy/Utilities Sales
- Minimum 1 year's Field Sales experience
- Proven track record of generating new business and winning commercial contracts
- Strong understanding of the Utilities/Energy market
- Full UK work authorisation
- Self-motivated, target-driven and comfortable working independently

About the Role
We are seeking an ambitious and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our growing team. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced B2B Energy Sales professional who thrives on developing new business opportunities, building lasting client relationships, and delivering exceptional commercial results.
You will play a key role in driving business growth by identifying opportunities, securing new clients, and providing tailored utility solutions to businesses across your territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect and secure new B2B business opportunities within the utilities and energy sector
- Build, develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients
- Conduct face-to-face meetings and presentations with key decision-makers
- Understand client requirements and provide tailored energy and utility solutions
- Negotiate and close commercial agreements to achieve and exceed sales targets
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity and industry developments
- Maintain accurate records and manage your sales pipeline effectively
- Operate with integrity and professionalism in line with Utilitrack's values and reputation
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Proven experience within B2B Energy or Utilities Sales
- Previous field sales experience with a strong new business focus
- A consistent record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- Strong commercial awareness and relationship-building ability
- A proactive, resilient and self-motivated approach
- The ability to work independently whilst contributing to wider team success
