Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Care Healthcare Assistant to join our team. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will provide essential support to our service users to assist in delivering high-quality care to our clients in the community. Your role will involve various responsibilities, including providing personal care, meal and medication support, companionship, and ensuring the comfort and well-being of our service users.
Responsibilities:
- Help service users with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with mobility and transfers of patients
- Provide emotional support and companionship to service users
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for service users
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding if necessary
- Document information accurately and timely
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and empathetic nature
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology is a plus
