Grappelli Deli & Butchery is an Italian deli, butcher, and grocery store in the heart of Northcote Road. We focus on great food, good coffee, and creating a warm, welcoming space where customers feel like regulars - even on their first visit.
We’re looking for a Deli & Kitchen Manager to take ownership of our deli and kitchen operations. This role suits someone who is organised, confident leading a team, and comfortable keeping things running smoothly in a fast-paced environment.
You’ll be managing and supporting deli and kitchen staff, overseeing day-to-day service, and making sure standards are consistently met. Alongside this, you’ll be involved in cooking for our lunch menu and helping with rotisserie chicken preparation.
Stock management is a key part of the role - you’ll be responsible for ordering products for the kitchen and deli, keeping things well organised, and ensuring the team has everything they need for service.
We’re looking for someone with solid experience in a similar environment, who can lead by example, communicate clearly, and keep both the team and the operation running efficiently. An interest in Italian food is a plus, but a strong management mindset is just as important.
