Patcham Nursing Home is looking for compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurses to join our friendly and supportive team.
Unlike larger services, our 30-bed nursing home allows nurses the time to build meaningful relationships with residents and deliver truly person-centred care. The Role
As a Registered Nurse, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality nursing care and supporting residents to live safely, comfortably and with dignity.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering safe, effective and person-centred nursing care
- Administering medications, including controlled drugs, in line with best practice
- Undertaking clinical assessments and monitoring residents' health needs
- Providing wound care and other nursing interventions
- Maintaining accurate care plans and clinical records
- Recognising and responding to changes in residents' conditions
- Delivering compassionate palliative and end-of-life care
- Working collaboratively with GPs, families, district nurses and other healthcare professionals
- Supporting care staff and promoting high standards across the home
- Helping to maintain a safe, calm and positive environment for residents and colleagues
About You
We are looking for nurses who are passionate about delivering exceptional care and making a positive difference every day.
Essential
- Registered Nurse qualification (RGN or RMN)
- Valid NMC registration
- Confident administering medication and managing clinical responsibilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Compassionate, professional and resident-focused approach
Desirable
- Previous experience within a nursing home, residential care or healthcare setting
- Experience supporting older people with complex nursing needs
