Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Apprentice Nursery Practitioner to join our vibrant team. This role is ideal for individuals who have a keen interest in early childhood education and wish to develop their skills in a nurturing environment. As an Apprentice, you will work alongside experienced practitioners, gaining valuable hands-on experience while contributing to the growth and development of children in our care.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and implementation of engaging activities that promote children's learning and development.
- Support the daily care routines of children, ensuring their safety, wellbeing, and comfort.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster a positive nursery environment.
- Observe and record children's progress, providing feedback to senior staff as required.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating nursery environment.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance your professional development.
- Demonstrate leadership qualities by taking initiative in group activities and supporting fellow practitioners.
Experience
- Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential; enthusiasm for childcare is key.
- Strong communication skills in English are required to effectively engage with children and their families.
- A background or interest in early childhood education will be advantageous.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a positive attitude in a busy nursery setting.
- A driving licence is beneficial for potential travel between nursery locations or outings.

Pay: £8.00-£8.50 per hour
