About the role
Radis Community Care is currently seeking a compassionate and reliable Support Worker to join a small, person-centred team supporting a young gentleman in the WR5 area of Worcester.
The role is ideal for someone who enjoys building meaningful one-to-one support relationships and providing consistent, respectful care that promotes independence and quality of life.
About the individual youll be supporting
You will be supporting a 25 year old gentleman with learning and physical disabilities.
He enjoys watching films and television, and benefits from a calm supportive, and familiar routine.
Shift pattern

Tuesday & Friday: 10:00am 4:00pm

Additional hours may become available in the future.

Occasional weekends and overnight stays (ad hoc)

You may also pick up extra shifts if you wish within our services in the area
Responsibilities

Providing companionship and support with daily activities

Assisting with outings and engaging activities

Light support with personal care if required

Preparing drinks and meals (usually prepared by family in advance)

Promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing at all times

Working closely with family members to maintain consistency of care

Good communication and reliability

Experience in care in helpful but not essential full training is provided
