Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care, assisting the dental team during procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic. This position requires strong organisational skills, effective communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality care to patients.
Full or part time applicants will be considered.
Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during examinations and treatments, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
- Provide excellent patient care by welcoming patients, addressing their concerns, and ensuring their comfort throughout their visit.
- Maintain accurate patient records and update information as required using R4 software which is soon to be upgraded to Dentally.
- Collaborate effectively with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow within the practice.
- Other duties will include working on reception and decontamination of instruments
- Be familiar and comply with cross infection control
Requirements
- GDC registered
- NEBDN or equivalent qualification
- Fully immunised
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, to interact with patients and colleagues professionally.
- A compassionate approach to patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards patients' needs.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Previous experience in a dental setting.
