We are seeking a skilled and passionate CDP Chef to join our culinary team. Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Assist in menu planning and ingredient selection to ensure quality and consistency
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner, meeting service deadlines
- Support the training of junior kitchen staff and interns as required
- Uphold high standards of hygiene, safety, and sanitation throughout all kitchen activities
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and meal preparation processes
- Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations
- Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Experience serving or presenting food in a customer-facing setting is advantageous
