Customer Service Advisor
Berry Recruitment is seeking Customer Service Advisors to join a well-established and reputable organisation in Durham on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
The rewards
£12.71–£18.90 per hour. Vouchers awarded for star performance plus free tea and coffee on site throughout your shift.
Hours
37 hours per week. Various shift patterns available with 8:00–11:30am starts through to 17:30–20:00 finishes. Part-time hours also available. 3–5 weekends required over every 8-week period, which can be consecutive or spaced depending on business needs.
The role of a Customer Service Advisor

Processing inbound and outbound calls, emails and customer enquiries in line with established procedures

Accurately completing transactions and maintaining up-to-date digital and manual records

Prioritising and managing daily workloads to meet deadlines

Escalating non-routine queries appropriately to the relevant team

Collaborating with colleagues to support overall team performance

Providing general administrative assistance and ensuring compliance with internal controls and audit requirements
The ideal Customer Service Advisor candidate

Previous experience in a customer service, contact centre or similar role

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to handle varied enquiries

Proven ability to work effectively in a team and structured environment

Good organisational skills and excellent attention to detail and accuracy
