Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and take beverage orders with attentiveness and professionalism
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in accordance with standard recipes and presentation guidelines
- Ensure all drinks are served promptly whilst maintaining quality standards
- Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and equipment
- Comply with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies at all times
- Monitor guest behaviour to promote a safe environment and prevent over-service
- Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
- Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent customer service and support overall venue operations
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred, especially in serving or bartending roles
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with diverse guests in a friendly manner
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Effective time management to serve multiple guests efficiently during busy periods
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- A personable attitude with a genuine enthusiasm for delivering outstanding customer experiences
