An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Marketing Manager to join a leading events business, taking ownership of the marketing strategy for one of the UK's largest and most recognised consumer exhibitions.
This is a hands-on role where you'll lead the planning and delivery of integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns to drive visitor attendance, ticket sales and brand engagement. Working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams, you'll play a key role in shaping the future growth of a flagship live event.
The Role
As Marketing Manager, you'll be responsible for developing and executing high-impact marketing campaigns across digital, traditional and partnership channels. This is a fast-paced position requiring both strategic thinking and hands-on campaign delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and delivering integrated multi-channel marketing campaigns.
- Driving visitor acquisition, retention and engagement through CRM and audience segmentation.
- Managing campaigns across email, website, paid digital, social media, PR, TV, radio and press.
- Building relationships with sponsors, media partners, ambassadors, influencers and third-party partners.
- Managing external agencies including creative, digital, PR and media buying.
- Monitoring campaign performance using analytics and CRM data, providing insight and recommendations.
- Leading the onsite marketing delivery during the live event.
- Managing website content, SEO and digital assets.
- Collaborating with Sales, Operations, PR and Event teams to deliver commercial objectives.
- Contributing fresh ideas to support the continued growth and evolution of the event.
About You
We're looking for an experienced marketing professional who enjoys taking ownership of campaigns and thrives in a fast-moving events environment.
You'll ideally have:
- At least 5 years' experience in event marketing or a similar senior marketing role.
- Proven success delivering integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns.
- Experience managing PR activity and developing strategic partnerships.
- Strong digital marketing knowledge, including Google Analytics, CRM platforms, CMS and email marketing systems.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to optimise campaigns using data.
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience managing multiple projects and delivering to tight deadlines.
- Content creation and copywriting experience.
- A proactive, creative and commercially minded approach.
Marketing qualifications such as CIM or IDM would be advantageous but are not essential.
