Dental Therapist

NEW OPPORTUNITY: Part-time position in Liverpool for a dental therapist. We are specifically looking for somebody with a fantastic work ethic, the ability to be assertive, work independently, show leadership and develop with the practice and the type of care being delivered. We are looking for an enthusiastic, positive and assertive candidate who will focus on delivering an excellent patient experience and to support our senior management, as well as develop our junior staff members. The role is available one or two days per week (ideally Monday and Wednesday).
The existing practice (Liverpool) has recently been refurbished, decorated, rebranded and equipped. We are currently going through a second rebranding. We are now offering basic and advanced dental implant care, short-term orthodontics, smile makeovers, digital dentistry and advanced periodontal surgery. We have a fantastic motivated and loyal team to assist the right candidate to settle into the practice. There is ample opportunity to practice dental therapy and this role is not focused on hygiene solely. An abundance of restorative and paediatric care is present at the practice.
Your role will focus on hygiene care for our private and plan patients - opening courses of treatment and working within your scope under the mentorship and guidance of the Principal Dentist and the other clinicians who work with us.
We would like a candidate with extremely high levels of motivation and desire to help develop the practice and care for our patients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' dental health and needs, utilizing knowledge of anatomy.
- Perform dental treatments and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Utilize CAD and medical imaging technologies to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
- Collaborate with dental professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of treatments performed.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy relevant to dental therapy
- Proficiency in CAD (Computer-Aided Design) for dental applications
- Experience with medical imaging techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dental team environment
- Relevant certifications in dental therapy or related fields

Pay: £24.00-£32.00 per hour
