Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sewing Tutor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in sewing with a passion for creating high quality garments.
The successful applicant must also be willing to support others to improve their sewing skills. Training and support will be provided to the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Operate sewing machines to produce.
- Cut fabric and materials accurately based on pattern requirements
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance and adherence to standards
- Assist with inventory management of fabrics and sewing supplies
Requirements
- Proven experience in sewing, with the ability to operate various sewing machines confidently
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to follow safety procedures
Pay: £14.00-£20.57 per hour
Work Location: In person
