Quarry Motors BMW Specialists are a family-run business established in 1989, with an excellent reputation across Sheffield and South Yorkshire. Based in Kelham Island, our busy service department specialises exclusively in the servicing, repair and maintenance of BMW and MINI vehicles.
Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced Vehicle Technician to join our expanding service team on a full-time, permanent basis.

The Role
You will be working as part of a knowledgeable and supportive team, carrying out a wide range of mechanical repairs and servicing on BMW & MINI vehicles.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Routine servicing and maintenance (oil services, brake fluid changes, inspections, etc.)
- Mechanical repairs including brakes, exhausts, clutches, gearboxes and suspension
- Diagnosing engine and engine-related ancillary faults
- Using our manufacturer-level diagnostic equipment to read faults, reset service indicators and update service records
- Carrying out repairs to a high standard while maintaining efficiency and attention to detail
Essential Requirements (Must-Have)
- Minimum 5 years’ experience working as a vehicle technician / mechanic
- Strong mechanical knowledge and diagnostic ability
- Your own toolbox and a full set of tools
- Experience working in a professional workshop environment
Desirable Experience
- Engine and gearbox removal and refit
- Previous experience working on BMW and MINI vehicles (advantageous, but not essential)
