Duties
- Installing, inspecting, and repairing electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in commercial or industrial settings
- Diagnosing electrical faults using specialised tools and techniques
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Ensuring all work complies with current electrical codes and safety regulations
- Testing electrical systems for safety and functionality before completion
- Maintaining accurate records of work performed and materials used
- Collaborating with other tradespeople and project managers to ensure timely project completion
- Providing guidance and support to apprentices or junior staff as required
Skills
- Proficient in the use of hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, and multimeters
- Experienced with power tools including drills, saws, and cable cutters
- Demonstrable electrical experience with a solid understanding of wiring systems, circuit breakers, and control panels
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently
- Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Good communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and clients
- Ability to adhere strictly to health and safety regulations at all times

Pay: £29,084.83-£48,204.24 per year
