The Opportunity
You will manage a varied and interesting caseload covering a wide range of private family law matters while working alongside experienced colleagues within a highly respected team.
Your caseload will include:
- Divorce and separation matters
- Financial remedy proceedings
- Private children law matters
- Pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements
- Cohabitation and separation disputes
- High-net-worth financial matters
- Child arrangement and relocation cases
- Domestic abuse and injunction applications
- International family law issues where applicable
This position offers the opportunity to work on complex and rewarding cases while developing your technical expertise and building strong, long-lasting client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a diverse family law caseload from instruction through to conclusion
- Providing clear, practical, and commercially focused legal advice
- Drafting legal documents, applications, witness statements, and settlement agreements
- Conducting legal research and advising on developing case law and legislation
- Liaising with clients, courts, barristers, experts, and third parties
- Representing clients and conducting advocacy where appropriate
- Delivering exceptional standards of client care throughout the client journey
- Managing files efficiently and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Supporting business development and networking initiatives
- Contributing to the continued success and growth of the department

The successful candidate will possess:
- Qualified Solicitor status
- Experience handling a range of private family law matters
- Strong technical knowledge of family law and court procedures
