We are seeking a friendly, compassionate, and reliable self-employed companion carer to support a lovely client living in the CM2 area.
The role involves providing companionship and encouragement to support the client's ongoing recovery following a stroke. A key aspect of the role is helping to motivate and engage the client in conversation and communication activities to support speech and confidence.
This is a companionship-focused role and no personal care is required.
Working Hours:
- Wednesday afternoon – 2 hours
- Saturday or Sunday morning – 2 hours
About You:
- Caring, patient, and empathetic
- Confident communicator with good listening skills
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to encourage and motivate others
- Experience supporting people following a stroke is desirable but not essential
