We are seeking a Waking Night Support officer to work 3 nights a week with one of our Young People within our Ofsted registered solo Children's Residential Service in Southport. The hours for this role are 10pm - 8am (rolling 3 in 3 off rota pattern)
Duties include:

Support a young person who may wake and require reassurance, and/or help regulating their emotions.

Routine nightly checks on the young person, monitoring their safety and wellbeing.

Completing relevant logs and records to a high standard.

Maintain a safe environment and follow safeguarding procedures at all times.

Undertake domestic tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and preparing the home for the following day.
Requirements:

Experience in responding to challenging behaviour, previous experience working with children and young people is desired but not essential.

Work collaboratively with day staff, ensuring smooth and consistent handover.

Be reliable, consistent, and able to follow safeguarding procedures.

Level 3 diploma is advantageous, however we will provide full training for the right candidate.

UK valid driving license is also advantageous, but not essential.
