Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team at a student accommodation facility. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of communal areas, corridors, bathrooms, kitchens, and individual rooms within the student accommodation
- Ensure all surfaces, floors, and fixtures are hygienic and well-maintained
- Restock cleaning supplies and toiletries as necessary to ensure facilities are fully equipped
- Dispose of waste responsibly and maintain recycling procedures
- Follow health and safety guidelines to prevent accidents and maintain a safe environment
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
- Adhere to cleaning schedules and standards to ensure consistent quality across all areas
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning services is preferred
- Knowledge of COSHH, cleaning chemicals, equipment, and best practices in hygiene standards
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and punctuality
