Service Manager – Supported Living (Learning Disabilities & Autism)

We're looking for a dedicated and passionate Service Manager to lead our well-established CQC Good-rated Supported Living services in Gloucester, supporting adults with Learning Disabilities and Autism.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced manager who is passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care while leading and developing a team of around 40 staff.
About the Role
As Service Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the operational management of our Supported Living services, ensuring the highest standards of care, compliance and staff performance are maintained.
Working closely with your team, families, professionals and commissioners, you'll ensure the people we support are empowered to live independently, achieve their goals and enjoy the best possible quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, inspire and manage a team of approximately 40 staff, including Team Leaders and Support Workers.
- Maintain and continuously improve our CQC Good-rated services.
- Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations, safeguarding legislation and organisational policies.
- Drive a positive, person-centred culture focused on achieving outstanding outcomes for the people we support.
- Manage recruitment, induction, supervision, performance management and staff development.
- Monitor quality through audits, action plans and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage service budgets and resources effectively.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with families, commissioners, healthcare professionals and external agencies.
- Participate in the management on-call rota where required.
About You
You'll be an experienced leader with:
- Previous experience managing Supported Living, Residential or Adult Social Care services.
- Experience supporting adults with Learning Disabilities and Autism.
- A strong understanding of CQC regulations and quality standards.
- Proven experience leading and motivating large teams.
- Excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills.
- Experience in safeguarding, quality assurance and performance management.
- A commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred support.
Desirable
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or willingness to achieve).
- Experience managing multiple supported living services.
- Full UK driving licence.
