Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic Game Host to join our small team here at Blackout escape room. The ideal candidate will thrive in a lively environment, providing exceptional customer experiences through engaging game management and hospitality skills. mainly weekends Friday to Sunday but weekdays may be available from time to time.
Duties
- Welcome guests and explain game rules clearly and enthusiastically
- Manage and oversee escape room activities, ensuring smooth operation and safety
- Engage with guests to create an enjoyable and inclusive environment
- Assist guests with questions or concerns related to game play
- Maintain the cleanliness of the escape rooms
- Coordinate with team members to ensure seamless game flow
- Monitor guest behaviour to uphold safety standards and promote responsible game play
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle guest interactions professionally
- Flexibility to work during evenings, weekends, or holidays as required
- A passion for entertainment and creating positive guest experiences
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role is advantageous but not essential
- Ideally a Milton Keynes resident
