Mobile Tyre Technician Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Mobile Tyre Technician, aged between 27 and 45, to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the inspection, repair, and installation of tyres on a variety of vehicles. This role requires a keen attention to detail and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. As a Tyre Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and performance of our customers' vehicles.
Duties
- Inspect tyres for wear and damage, ensuring they meet safety standards.
- Driving to customer location to change the tyre on roadside.
- Remove and install tyres on various types of vehicles, including cars, vans, and light trucks.
- Perform wheel alignments and balancing to optimise vehicle performance.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns regarding tyre maintenance.
- Keep the work area clean, organised, and safe at all times.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations while performing tasks.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Tyre Technician or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with an understanding of tyre technology and vehicle systems.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
- A valid driver's licence, able to drive a Van.
