Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Early Years Manager to oversee the daily operations of our outstanding Pre-School . The ideal candidate will possess strong management and leadership skills, with a passion for working with children and supporting their early development. This role involves ensuring high standards of childcare, fostering a safe and nurturing environment, and leading a team of childcare professionals. The Early Years Manager will play a vital role in delivering quality early childhood education and ensuring compliance with the EYFS
Duties
- Lead and manage the daily operations of the Pre-School ensuring smooth and efficient functioning
- Supervise and support staff, providing guidance, training, and performance appraisals to foster professional development
- Develop and implement engaging early childhood programmes that promote learning through play and exploration
- Maintain high standards of health, safety, and hygiene within the setting in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Build strong relationships with children, parents, and carers to ensure a welcoming and inclusive environment
- Organise staff rotas, manage resource allocation, and oversee administrative tasks
- Ensure compliance with all legal requirements, policies, and procedures related to early years education and care
- Promote continuous improvement through regular evaluation of activities and feedback from staff and parents
- Act as the DSL in the setting
Experience
- Proven management experience within a nursery or early childhood education setting
- Extensive knowledge of child development principles and early years curriculum frameworks
- Experience working directly with children in a childcare/school environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team of childcare professionals
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to liaise effectively with staff, parents, and external agencies
- Valid driving licence is desirable for transportation purposes or outreach activities

Pay: £19,540.00-£25,789.00 per year
