The Role
- Full class teacher responsibility for a Year 1 class
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum
- Supporting pupils through the transition from EYFS into Key Stage 1
- Delivering high-quality phonics teaching and supporting early literacy development
- Assessing, monitoring and tracking pupil progress
- Creating a positive, inclusive and stimulating learning environment
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching within EYFS or KS1
- Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and phonics programmes
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Passionate about delivering engaging and inspiring lessons
- Committed to helping every child achieve their full potential
