Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineer
MeterMate Ltd is currently recruiting experienced Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineers due to continued growth.
We are looking for reliable, professional engineers who want consistent work, realistic volumes and competitive earnings within a well-structured operation.
Operating Areas
Harrogate (HG postcode areas) and surrounding locations
If your area is not listed, applications are still welcome as coverage is expanding.
The Role
- Installation and exchange of SMETS2 dual fuel smart meters
- Working to industry standards and safety requirements
- Delivering a professional, customer-focused service
- Accurate completion of jobs using handheld systems
- Managing your workload efficiently to achieve daily volumes
Typical volumes are 3+ dual fuel installs per day, depending on area and routing.
Earnings & Rates
- Realistic earnings of £50,000 – £70,000 per annum, based on achievable daily volumes
- Two rate options available, depending on contract type and region
- PAYE and Subcontract opportunities offered
- Out-of-hours retainer and enhanced rates apply
- Full rate schedule provided during onboarding
Requirements
- Dual Fuel qualified (Gas & Electric)
- Valid MOCOPA
- EUSR (Gas & Electric)
- MET1 / CMA1
- Full UK driving licence
- Android smartphone (app compatibility requirement)
- Engineers may use their own van or a company van hire option is available
- Previous smart metering experience preferred
