SJB Sash Windows Specialist Ltd is a fast growing, family run business based in Sutton, specialising in the manufacture, installation and restoration of premium timber windows and doors throughout London and Surrey.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Sash Window Installer to join our expanding installation team.
About the Role: We are looking for an experienced installer with a strong background in fitting timber and uPVC sash windows, casement windows and doors. The role includes full window and door replacements, sash replacements into existing box frames, and refurbishment works.
As a large proportion of our projects involve restoring existing joinery, applicants must also have good painting and decorating skills and take pride in delivering a high standard of workmanship.
The successful candidate will be reliable, self motivated and committed to providing exceptional quality and customer service on every installation.
Please note: This position is strictly for experienced Sash Window Installers. Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years' proven experience installing timber and uPVC sash windows. Unfortunately, applications from candidates without the required industry experience will not be considered.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years' proven experience installing timber and uPVC sash windows, casement windows and doors
- MTC qualification or an equivalent NVQ in Fenestration Installation, Carpentry or a related trade is preferred, but not essential
- Good communication skills with a good standard of spoken English
- Full UK driving licence
- Own hand and power tools suitable for window installation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high quality workmanship
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday: 07:00 - 16:00 (with weekend work available when needed)
