AMLR Engineering is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join a growing precision engineering company based in Cowbridge, Wales. This role is ideal for an experienced machinist with strong set and operate experience working on 4-axis CNC machines using Siemens control panels.
You will be responsible for producing high-quality precision components while ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to engineering specifications.
Key Responsibilities for the CNC Machinist role:
· Set and operate CNC machines using Siemens control panels.
· Work on 4-axis CNC machinery producing precision components.
· Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
· Ensure components are produced to the required tolerances and quality standards.
· Carry out in-process inspections using measuring equipment.
· Make adjustments to tooling, offsets, and machine settings where required.
· Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with company procedures.
· Work collaboratively with the production team to meet manufacturing deadlines.
Skills and experience required for the CNC Machinist role:
· Previous experience as a CNC Machinist in a precision engineering environment.
· Experience setting and operating CNC machines.
· Experience working with Siemens control panels.
· Experience operating 4-axis CNC machinery.
· Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
· Good understanding of machining processes and tolerances.
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
