The Role
As a KS1 Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and differentiated lessons in line with the National Curriculum
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports learning and pupil wellbeing
- Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet individual needs
- Foster pupils' confidence, independence, and enthusiasm for learning
- Support the development of literacy, numeracy, and key foundational skills
- Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
- Contribute to the wider life of the school and participate in school events and activities
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour, achievement, and personal development
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 1
- Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and effective teaching practices
- Ability to create engaging and inclusive learning experiences
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A positive, proactive, and reflective approach to teaching
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
