Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Multi Drop Van Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods efficiently across multiple locations, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. Responsibilities
- Safely operate a multi-drop van to deliver goods to various destinations within designated routes
- Load and unload items, ensuring they are secured properly during transit
- Plan delivery routes effectively to optimise efficiency and meet delivery deadlines
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding delivery times and any potential delays
- Complete all necessary paperwork accurately, including delivery notes and logs
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly
- Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations throughout all aspects of the role
- Assist with warehouse duties such as stock organisation and heavy lifting when required
Skills
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role, with a solid understanding of commercial driving practices
- Valid <PERSON> driver’s licence with a clean driving record
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple deliveries efficiently
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling goods in warehouse settings
- Good knowledge of local roads and navigation tools to optimise routes
- Ability to work independently, demonstrating reliability and punctuality in all tasks
