An established engineering consultancy is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join its established team in Bath. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of projects across multiple sectors while playing a key role in project delivery and mentoring junior team members.
The Role
Responsibilities include:
- Leading projects across a variety of sectors and materials
- Attending site visits and design team meetings
- Managing relationships with clients, contractors, and consultants
- Carrying out structural analysis across timber, concrete, and steel projects
- Producing structural calculations in line with Eurocode standards
- Working alongside technicians to deliver accurate CAD and Revit drawings
- Supporting and mentoring junior engineers
- Managing multiple projects independently
About You
The successful candidate will:
- Be chartered or working towards chartership with IStructE or ICE
- Have experience delivering projects across a range of sectors and project sizes
- Be confident managing projects independently
- Have strong technical and communication skills
- Be proactive, motivated, and collaborative in their approach
