The Role
Driving duties, delivering Wiltshire Farm Foods frozen ready meals to our customer’s doors. Our drivers are the face of our business and their interaction with our customers is crucial to our success.
Alongside this you will also undertake working within our cold store that runs at a chilly -18ºc. Protective clothing designed to deal with this temperature is provided.
Responsibilities
- Picking orders within the cold store
- Delivering frozen meals to customers in a timely manner
- Using an app to update customers deliveries
- Delivering exceptional customer service at all times.
- Undertake pre-shift inspection of your van
- Drive safely, responsibly and within the law.
- Clean and refuel your van as and when needed
- Contact the office with any discrepancies or delays
- Collect cash/cheques payments
- Ensure customer confidentially
- Helping the drivers, office team and picking team when required
- Reporting health and safety, stock quality and mechanical issues
- Assist the team if another member of the team is absent or on holiday
Essential:
- Experience within a customer service-based role
- Full UK Manual Driving Licence
- Basic computer literacy including use of phone apps
- Evidence of work stability
- Basic secondary education
Desirable:
- Experience of multi-drop delivery role
- Experience within a care-based role
- Warehouse experience
- Health & Safety awareness

Pay: £12.71 per hour
