We now have an exciting opportunity for a Technician with mechanical experience to join our Build and Commissioning Team to support our rapidly growing order book for specialist Automation equipment. The role is hands on supporting the build of custom equipment and development prototypes whilst providing feedback to the rest of the team, with excellent opportunities for progression for the right individual.
What does a Technician do at Electrified?
- Mechanical assembly of automated machines including pneumatics and hydraulics
- Carry out proof-of-concept trials and implement improvements
- Fault finding and diagnostics of bespoke equipment
- Ensure that all Health & Safety requirements are met alongside making sure the relevant Risk Assessments are completed.
- Commissioning, testing and optimisation of machine systems
- Prototype and low-volume product assembly
- Manufacturing process and product development support
- Ensure all equipment is built / assembled in line with our quality system and branding guidelines.
What skills do you need?
Ability and experience in:
- Mechanical assembly
- Use of basic hand tools, measuring tools or machine shop tools
- Fault finding, testing and diagnostics
- Reading and understanding engineering drawings/electrical schematics
- Manufacturing / new product introduction
- Working both individually and as part of a team
- 2+ years in a workshop or similar environment
