Monday to Thursday 7am-4pm, Friday 8am-2.30pm (40 hours per week, 30 minute unpaid break each day)

An opportunity has arisen for a warehouse assistant to help us within our busy Horbury warehouse. Your role will be to help with day-to-day picking, packing and dispatch of orders, repair and refurbishment of festive lighting products, and on-site testing and repair. You will need to be able to build and maintain strong professional relationships with our colleagues who work in Horbury and across our other warehouses in the UK, and some of our teams who work remotely.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Repair and updating of our festive decorations.
- Maintaining and updating repair records.
- Receiving and despatching goods.
- Paperwork including delivery notes.
- Some administration work.
- Dealing with carriers.
- Assisting with stock control.
- Maintaining stock location in the warehouse.
- Working with our installation contractors for collection and return of our schemes.
- Occasionally working outside your normal hours to support with deliveries and collections as required.
Key Skills
- Able to prioritise and organise your workload.
- Positive “can do” attitude.
- Excellent communication and numerical skills.
- Previous experience in warehouse role is desirable.
- PAT testing experience is desirable, but training will be provided.
- Forklift truck experience is desirable; however training will be provided.
- First Aid experience is desirable, but training may be provided.
