Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Carer to provide high-quality support to individuals in a home care setting. The successful candidate will assist with daily activities, promote independence, and ensure the well-being of those in their care. Duties
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Support clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety at all times
- Help with meal preparation and feeding as required
- Implement and follow individualised care plans to meet specific needs
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Maintain accurate records of care provided using IT systems
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Drive clients to appointments or outings when necessary, ensuring safe transportation
- Uphold health and safety standards in line with organisational policies
Skills
- Valid driving licence and experience in driving clients safely
- Experience working within a care home or providing home care services
- Knowledge of creating and following care plans tailored to individual needs
- Fluency in English, with excellent communication skills to engage effectively with clients and team members
- Proficiency in IT systems for documentation and reporting purposes
- Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy, patience, and professionalism
- Good organisational skills to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently

Pay: £13.50-£15.00 per hour
