Deputy Manager – Children’s Residential (EBD)

Salary: £40,000 per annum

We are working with an established and well-regarded children’s residential provider to recruit a Deputy Manager for a 4-bed EBD home in Sittingbourne.

The Role:
As Deputy Manager, you will support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring high standards of care, safeguarding, and compliance are consistently maintained.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting and leading the staff team on shift
- Maintaining and improving Ofsted standards
- Contributing to care planning and risk management
- Building positive relationships with young people, families, and professionals
- Deputising in the absence of the Registered Manager

Requirements:
- Experience within children’s residential care (EBD)
- Previous experience at Senior Support Worker or Team Leader level
- Level 3 in Children & Young People (Level 5 desirable or willingness to work towards)
- Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding
- A genuine passion for improving outcomes for young people
