As a Care Assistant you will provide person-centred care, support daily living activities and build meaningful relationships with clients to promote independence and wellbeing.

Main duties and responsibilities
Provide safe, respectful and compassionate personal care to clients in their own homes, following agreed care plans
Support with daily living tasks such as washing, dressing, toileting, continence care and mobility assistance
Assist with medication administration where trained and permitted, and follow medication procedures
Prepare and support mealtimes, and assist with dietary needs and hydration
Support clients to maintain independence, dignity and social inclusion
Observe, report and record changes in client wellbeing, completing accurate notes and records in line with company policy
Follow health and safety guidance, infection control procedures and safeguarding protocols at all times
Work collaboratively with the care team, relatives and healthcare professionals to deliver joined-up care
What we are looking for
Previous experience in a care role is desirable but not essential; full training and induction will be provided
Compassionate, reliable and person-centred approach to care
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to follow care plans and complete accurate records
Willingness to undertake training and gain relevant qualifications (e.g. CACHE/NVQ/Adult Care Level 2 or 3)
Right to work in the UK
Able to travel to client homes; a driving licence and access to a vehicle is preferred but not essential
Enhanced DBS check (we can support with application if required)
Training and development
