HGV Workshop Technician / Mechanic – Sutton Coldfield

- 1 in every 3 Saturdays
We are currently recruiting for an experienced and highly motivated HGV Workshop Technician / Mechanic to join a growing and well-established transport business based in Weeford.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy, fast-paced workshop maintaining a modern and diverse fleet of DAF, Volvo, MAN and Renault vehicles.
The Role:
- Servicing and maintaining a fleet of approx. 90 vehicles and 30 trailers
- Fault diagnostics on HGV vehicles
- MOT preparation and inspections
- Weekly and monthly vehicle checks
- Mechanical and electrical repairs
- Working within a time-critical distribution environment
About You:
We are looking for someone with:
- Previous HGV or Heavy Plant experience
- Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or time-served equivalent)
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Experience working with DAF, Volvo, MAN or Renault (preferred)
