HGV Class 1 Driver – Immediate Start – Bury St Edmunds
Monday to Friday | Curtainside | General Haulage | 3 Drops Maximum | Weekly Pay
We are seeking reliable and motivated HGV Class 1 Curtainside Drivers to join our team in the Bury St Edmunds area. This is an excellent opportunity for professional drivers looking for consistent work, strong rates, and a supportive team environment.
Pay Rates:
- £19.00 per hour – Days
- £20.00 per hour – Nights
The Role:
As a Class 1 Curtainside Driver, you will be responsible for general haulage deliveries with up to 3 drops per shift.
- Up to 3 deliveries of palletised goods per shift
- Driving a curtainside HGV Class 1 vehicle
- General haulage
- Trunking and tramping available
- Daily vehicle checks and completion of delivery paperwork
- Ensuring safe and timely transportation of goods
- Ongoing work available
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid HGV Class 1 (Cat C+E) licence
- Valid CPC
- Valid Digi Tacho Card
- Experience with 3-drop deliveries preferred, but not essential
- Professional attitude and good communication skills
