Would you like to join the growing team at FIKA Gallery in Morpeth town centre, and create amazing food for our visitors?
We are looking for a passionate chef with a love for food to join our kitchen team.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing our full menu
- Ordering & sourcing fresh ingredients
- Kitchen record keeping & food hygiene standards
- General cleaning and upkeep of the kitchen
- Cleaning dishes
Opening hours are 9am - 5pm, so working hours are sociable across all 7 days. Weekends are essential.
Our current menu consists of breakfast, brunch and lunch classics, along with daily specials, soups and seasonal dishes.
We are a growing family business, so a can-do attitude and willingness to learn are important.
We have a strong management team who provide the tools and support for you to grow.
Experience as a chef is essential, ideally with a background in lunch or brunch dishes. Full training will be provided.
£26,000 p/a full time salary, pro rata 32 hours per week, contract.
