Are you an experienced Senior carer looking for a rewarding opportunity? Ridgegate Home is seeking a Senior Carer for our warm, charitably-run residential care home for older people in Reigate, Surrey.
Nestled in a peaceful setting, Ridgegate Home provides a safe, supportive and compassionate environment for elderly residents who are no longer able, or no longer wish to live independently. In addition to long-term residential care, we offer short-term respite stays to support families and caregivers when needed.
Qualifications and knowledge are important - you should be qualified or working towards L3 NVQ, be aware of safeguarding and regulatory requirements, and be proficient in the use of relevant technology, but of equal importance is the compassion and care that you give to residents. Duties will include providing person-centred care and support to all our residents and for their families. You will be responsible for assessing individual needs; creating, managing and updating care plans; administering and distributing medication; and ensuring that the highest quality care is delivered by the care assistants. You will need to confidently communicate with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals.
