Domiciliary Care Deputy Manager
Cardiff
Monday–Friday | 9:00am–5:00pm
Are you a compassionate, motivated care professional ready to take the next step in your career? We’re looking for an experienced Domiciliary Care Deputy Manager to join our growing team and help deliver outstanding, person-centred care across Cardiff and the surrounding areas.
About the Role
As Deputy Manager, you’ll support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of our domiciliary care service, ensuring safe, high-quality care that meets CIW regulations and exceeds expectations. This is a varied and rewarding role combining office-based responsibilities with community support.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the operational management of the service
- Maintaining compliance with CIW standards and regulations
- Supporting, supervising, and developing care staff
- Contributing to care planning, audits, and quality improvement
- Acting as a role model for excellent care and professional practice
About You
You’ll be passionate about delivering high-quality domiciliary care and confident working within a regulated environment.
Essential requirements:
- Registered Manager Award or NVQ/QCF Level 4 (or above) in Health & Social Care
- Proven CIW experience
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- A good understanding of domiciliary care services
- UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (desirable, if applicable)
