The Role
We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable HGV Trailer Technician to join our team in Bishopbriggs. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced technician looking for a stable, well-paid role with a great work-life balance—no weekends or night shifts required.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a wide range of HGV trailers
- Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults
- Perform safety inspections in line with DVSA standards
- Complete all relevant paperwork accurately and efficiently
- Ensure all work is carried out to a high standard and within health & safety guidelines
Requirements
- Proven experience as an HGV or trailer technician
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Knowledge of braking systems, electrics, and suspension
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Relevant qualifications (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent preferred, but not essential with experience)
