Skilled Multi-Traders, Carpenters, Painters & Decorators Wanted Affordable Housing Void Refurbishments – Brighton, Worthing, Newhaven & Eastbourne Immediate start available
We have secured an ongoing contract for the roll-out of void refurbishment works across the affordable housing sector in Brighton, Worthing, Newhaven and Eastbourne. We're building a reliable team of skilled tradespeople to deliver these works to a high standard — and we're open to both employed and self-employed arrangements.
We're recruiting:
- Multi-Traders (carpentry-led with broader skills across painting, basic plumbing, tiling, make-good)
- Carpenters
- Painters & Decorators
Two ways to work with us:
Employed (PAYE)
- Permanent role with steady, year-round workflow
- Holiday pay, pension, and the security of regular employment
- Competitive day rates £160–£180
Self-Employed
- Ongoing pipeline of work under a long-term contract
- Price work or day rates — your choice depending on the package
- Price work avaialble
- Day Rate £180–£200
- Prompt payment
- Properties grouped by area to keep travel sensible
What we're looking for:
- Immediate start
- Proven experience in void or refurbishment works (social/affordable housing experience an advantage)
- High standards of finish and the ability to work to programme
- Reliable, professional, and able to leave properties handover-ready
- Full UK driving licence
- CSCS Card
- Own tools
