A welcoming primary school in Birmingham is looking for a Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their SEND provision, supporting a small group of pupils with complex needs.
This role is ideal for graduates considering careers in teaching, educational psychology, speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, or SEN support who want meaningful school-based experience from day one.
The Role
- Support a small group of pupils with complex SEND needs
- Deliver targeted interventions and adapted learning activitiesBuild positive relationships that promote confidence and engagementWork closely with teachers and the SENDCo to support pupil progressHelp create a safe, structured and inclusive learning environment
- Who We're Looking For
- Graduate (2:2 or above) in any subject
- Patient, resilient and compassionate approachStrong communication and interpersonal skillsPassion for supporting children with additional needsPrevious experience working with young people is desirable but not essential
