You will be required to carry out daily mechanical and electrical maintenance on machinery and production equipment
- Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults to minimise production downtime
- Complete scheduled maintenance tasks safely, to standard, and on time
- Identify and implement engineering improvements that enhance reliability, performance, and efficiency
- Support production during shift with a proactive, solutions-focused approach
- Communicate clearly with Engineering and Operations teams to ensure effective coordination and decision-making
- Execute planned and preventive maintenance activities in line with the maintenance plan to maximise asset reliability and longevity
- Support proactive improvement activities, identifying recurring issues and contributing to root cause analysis and reliability improvements
- Collaborate closely with Operations and Manufacturing teams to prioritise maintenance activities that support production continuity3 weekly rotation shift pattern:
6am-2pm
2pm-10pm
8am - 4.30pm
A successful Multi-skilled Engineer should have:
- NVQ level 3
- FMCG - food manufacturing experience, working to BRC
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems efficiently.
- Familiarity with health and safety standards and procedures.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A proactive and detail-oriented approach to tasks.
- £50,000
