Early Years Practitioner - Summer Supply (Qualified)
An opportunity has arisen to join our Glenbervie team of practitioners, for summer supply cover. This position would be particularly suitable for someone who has recently completed their HNC in Early Learning and Childcare and is awaiting the start of university, or for a recent graduate looking to gain valuable experience before moving into a permanent role. We also welcome applications from qualified practitioners seeking temporary employment over the summer period.
The successful candidate should be enthusiastic, caring, and motivated, with a genuine passion for supporting children in their early years. We are looking for an individual who can communicate effectively, work collaboratively as part of a team, and contribute to delivering a high-quality, child-centred service that meets the needs of children and their families.
Our setting is a family run service which places importance in relationships with children and families, a place where all are valued and cared for. We are looking for enthusiastic and inspiring individuals, to support our younger children through their early years.
You will need to be dedicated and enthusiastic, have initiative, motivation and drive and have knowledge and experience of current early learning and childcare provision and procedures.
This post requires flexibility and relevant knowledge within all age groups.
Job Requirements
Relevant Qualifications
You must be educated to HNC level in Early Education and Childcare or hold SNNB/HNC/SVQ3 qualifications in Childcare/Education or equivalent and be able to evidence additional learning and knowledge of current practice and legislation in relation to Early Learning and Childcare.
The successful candidate will be required to be or join the PVG scheme with an enhanced disclosure.
