Early Years Educator Apprentice (Level 3)

Key Responsibilities
Under the direction of teachers and early years professionals, you will:
- Support the care and development of nursery children, including those with additional needs.
- Assist with the preparation of resources and the organisation of nursery rooms.
- Help with tidying, cleaning, and maintaining a safe learning environment.
- Engage children in purposeful play, learning experiences, and physical activities.
- Support children's personal, social, and emotional development.
- Supervise and interact positively with children, encouraging good behaviour and social skills.
- Help create an environment where effective learning can take place.
- Work in accordance with nursery and school policies and procedures.
- Take responsibility for your own health and safety and that of others.
Apprenticeship Details
- Position: Early Years Educator Apprentice (Level 3)
- Duration: 24 months
- Training Provider: Skills England / East Lancs Learning Group
- Training Delivery: Rolling enrolment
- Hours: 42.35 hours per week
- Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 8:45am 5:50pm
Essential Requirements
- GCSE English and Maths at Grade C/Grade 4 or above (or equivalent).
- A genuine interest in working with young children.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
