JOB DESCRIPTION -
MGP are a busy Hailsham based Specialist Steel Fabrication & Construction Company with ongoing work throughout London, South-East and beyond.
MGP are looking to employ – A Yard Person / Delivery Driver to support & work alongside our existing workshop & site teams - The role would be varied and hands-on
Primary Duties …
- Forklift Operation
- Yard Operations
- Spray Painting Steel
- Delivery to London and the South-East in various MGP Vehicles - Occasionally Early Morning Starts will be Required, but Early Finishes will also be offered
Secondary Duties …
- Occasional Site Work for Holiday Cover (Further to suitable training as required)
- Vehicle & Plant - Day to Day Maintenance
Essential …
· Driving License
· Good sense of timekeeping & punctuality
· Common sense & ability to integrate well with the existing team(s) and work hard
· You must be physically fit (i.e. Capable of passing a “Fit to Work” medical) and able to perform some Manual Handling Duties
Preferred …
· Forklift and Yard Work Experience (i.e. Timber/Steel Yard or Warehouse)
· Some paint spraying experience
· A C1 Driving License (Drivers who passed their Standard Car Test before Jan 1997 would generally retain C1 License through Grandfather Rights)
· Driver CPC Qualification

· MGP operates an ongoing training program to ensure all staff are suitably trained and carry correct certification
· Final rates of pay – Varying dependent on experience
N.B.
· MGP may consider offering to train the right individual to achieve C1 / C Driving licence categories
JOB TYPE = Full Time / Permanent
RENUMERATION = Circa - £28 to £32K dependent on experience
